Installation Procedure
At operating temperature, the engine coolant is hot and under pressure.Steam can cause personal injury.Check the coolant level only after the engine has been stopped and the fill cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.Remove the fill cap slowly to relieve pressure.Cooling system conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes to prevent personal injury.

Install the cab heater. Install the four bolts (6) and install the four washers that hold the cab heater (7) to the floorplate.

Install the wiring harness (5) that is located behind the cab heater.

Typical example
Remove plugs from the hose assembly (3) and the hose assembly (4). Connect hose assemblies (3) and (4) to the two tubes under the cab heater. Install the two clamps. Tighten the clamps to a torque of 4.5 0.5 N m (40 4 lb in).

Install cover (2), washers and bolts (1) under the cab.
Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure. End By:
