Position fan shroud (11) over the fan.

Fasten Tooling (A), lifting straps, and a hoist to radiator and hydraulic oil cooler (20) .
Position the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler on the machine. The weight of the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler is approximately 68 kg (150 lb).

Install the washers and bolts (21) in the radiator support.

Install brace (18). Install the washers and bolts (16) .
Install brace (19). Install the washers and bolts (17) .

Connect hose (15) to the hydraulic oil cooler.

Connect hose (14) to the hydraulic oil cooler.

Connect bottom radiator hose (13). Tighten hose clamp (12) .

Install the washers and bolts (10) in fan shroud (11) .

Install lower fan guard (8). Install the washers and bolts (9) .
Install upper fan guard (7). Install the washers and bolts (6) .

Connect upper radiator hose (5). Tighten hose clamp (4) .
Connect overflow hose (3) to the radiator.

Install cover (2) that is located under the radiator. Install the washers and bolts (1) .
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Fill the cooling system.Reference: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities" for the proper filling procedure.
Install high efficiency filters in place of the pilot filter, case drain filter, and the return filter.Note: High efficiency filters should not be run for more than 250 hours before you change back to the standard filters.
Check the hydraulic system oil level.Reference: Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check" for the correct procedure.
Start the machine and run the machine. Check the system for leaks.
Obtain a hydraulic oil sample.Reference: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Sampling Interval and Location for Sampling" for the correct location.
If the S O S sample exceeds ISO 18/15, flush the hydraulic system.Reference: Refer to Contamination Control Guidelines, SEBF8449, "Hydraulic System Flushing Procedure for 313B Hydraulic Excavators" for further information.End By: Install the counterweight. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Counterweight - Remove and Install" in this manual.
