Remove And Install Balancer Shaft Bearings (3304)
START BY:a. remove oil pan plateb. remove balancer shafts (3304)c. remove flywheel housing 1. Use tooling (A) and remove the six balancer shaft bearings by pulling them toward the flywheel end of the engine. 2. Install the balanacer shaft front bearings with tooling (A). Make sure the oil holes in the bearings are in alignment with the oil holes in the cylinder block. The bearings must be 0.8 0.5 mm (.03 .02 in.) inside the front face of the cylinder block after installation.3. Install the balancer shaft center bearings with tooling (A). Make sure the oil holes in the bearings are in alignment with the oil holes in the cylinder block. The bearings must be 290.6 0.5 mm (11.44 .02 in.) from the front face of the cylinder block after installation.4. Install the balancer shaft rear bearings with tooling (A). Make sure the oil holes in the bearings are in alignment with the oil holes in the cylinder block. The bearings must be 601.0 0.5 mm (23.66 .02 in.) from the front face of the cylinder block after installation.5. Check the bore of the bearings. The bore of the bearings must be 53.05 0.06 mm (2.089 .002 in.) after installation.END BY:a. install flywheel housingb. install balancer shafts (3304)c. install oil pan plate
