1 2 6V-5103 O-Ring Seal Lubricate the bore lightly with 5P-3975 Rubber Lubricant.
2 2 239-6808 Clamp Torque to 7.5 1.0 N m (66.3 8.8 lb in).
Before assembly, lubricate threads bearing surfaces with Loctite C5A copper anti-seize inside diameter of clamp.
3 2 307-5472 Bellows Ensure that the bellows are installed in the proper direction as marked on the bellows by an arrow.
4 2 6V-5103 O-Ring Seal Lubricate the bore lightly with 5P-3975 Rubber Lubricant.
5 2 239-6808 Clamp Torque to 7.5 1.0 N m (66.3 8.8 lb in).

6 10 8J-5985 Bolt Use the following procedure in order to assemble the aftercooler assembly and tighten the bolts:
1. Assemble the seals to the aftercooler core.
2. Temporarily secure the bottom seal to the aftercooler with tape. Do not use an adhesive, a silicone lubricant, or any other lubricant for retention of the seal.
3. Assemble the aftercooler with seals to the inlet manifold.
4. Inspect the bottom seal in order to ensure that the seal is seating correctly in the recess.
5. Install the aftercooler cover.
6. Inspect the upper seal in order to ensure that the seal is seating correctly in the recess.
7. Install the cover bolts. Hand tighten the cover bolts.
8. Tighten the bolts in a numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 2 to 24 N m (212 lb in).
9. Again, tighten the bolts in a numerical sequence that is shown in Illustration2 to 47 N m (35lb ft).
10. Remove the tape.
