Apply clean engine oil to the threads of the studs and to both sides of the washers. Assemble the washers and nuts onto the studs. Hand tighten nuts.
Apply clean engine oil to the threads of all of the side bolts (10), (11), (12), and (13) and to both sides of all of the washers. Assemble the washers and side bolts onto the cylinder block. Hand tighten the side bolts.
