Do not remove the centering tools until removal is required to tighten the locknuts.Use the following procedure to tighten the locknuts:Note: Apply 4C-5599 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads of locknuts and to the bearing surface of the locknuts and the spacers and the washers before assembly.
Tighten locknut 1 through locknut 12 in a numerical sequence to 20 3 N m (15 2 lb ft).
Again, tighten locknut 1 through locknut 12 in a numerical sequence to 38 5 N m (28 4 lb ft).
