Coolant from the engine comes in at one end of oil cooler core (3). The coolant goes through the coolant tubes that are inside the oil cooler core. The coolant absorbs any heat from the oil. The coolant exits at the other end of the oil cooler core and returns to the engine cooling system.Oil flows from the hoist system through line (2) to oil cooler core (3). The oil flows around the coolant tubes. Baffles inside the oil cooler core route the oil through the oil cooler core and the baffles also support the coolant tubes.The cooled oil leaves the oil cooler core through line (1). The line is connected to the service brake cooling system.
