Install Tooling (C) to anchor (25). Turn Tooling (C) clockwise to compress return spring (39).
Remove pin (41) from guide pin (40).
Turn Tooling (C) counterclockwise to release the tension on return spring (39).
Remove Tooling (C), guide pin (40) and return spring (39) from anchor (25).
Repeat Step 37 through Step 40 for the five remaining return springs, guide pins and pins.

Remove piston (42) from housing (32).

Remove seals (43) and (44) from piston (42).

Remove 30 bolts (46) from anchor (25).
Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Loosen four special nuts (45) evenly until all the spring force on housing (32) is released.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to housing (32). The weight of housing (32) is approximately 120 kg (265 lb). Remove housing (32) from anchor (25).
Remove Tooling (A) and four taperlock studs (47) from housing (32).

Turn housing (32) so that the splined end faces downward.
Remove three seals (48) from housing (32).
Remove seals (49) and (50) from housing (32).
Remove four taperlock studs (51) from housing (32).

Remove O-ring seal (52) from anchor (25).
Remove piston (53) from anchor (25).

Remove 25 spring assemblies (54) from anchor (25).

Remove sleeve (56) from anchor (25).

Remove four plugs (58) from anchor (25). Remove the O-ring seals from plugs (58).
