KIT-GASKET 9X6573 - Caterpillar

With the introduction of the small hydraulic excavator, dealer servicemen now need to include metric hand tools in their tool kits. Caterpillar currently offers three metric hand tool groups which should satisfy 90% of the fastener requirements for this product line. Effective immediately, these groups are available at a 20 to 30% reduction in dealer net prices. Some additional 3/4" drive sockets are also available at regular prices.
All of these tools are made of alloy steel and are heat treated to achieve the high standard of strength, toughness, ductility and fatigue resistance required by Caterpillar. Both the sockets and the combination wrenches (box end) incorporate a "flank" drive design. With this design, contact occurs on the flanks or flat areas of the drive surfaces on the tool and fastener. Corner contact is eliminated, thus prolonging the life of both tool and fastener.
