Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove air cleaner.
Remove the clean emissions module.
Remove exhaust cooler (NRS).

Disconnect hose assembly (1) and tube assembly (2).

Disconnect tube assembly (5).
Remove bolts (3) and cover (4).

Disconnect harness assemblies (6).

Disconnect hose assembly (7) and hose assembly (8).

Remove bolts (9) and rotary actuator (10).

Remove bolts (11) and valve assembly (12).

Remove bolts (13), shield assemblies (14) and shield assembly (15).

Remove bolts (17) and elbow (16).

Remove bolts (18), bolts (19), and bolts (20).

Remove cotter pins (23), pins (22), and lifting eyes (21).

Remove bolts (25) and lift eye retainer (24).
Disconnect harness assemblies (26).

Remove temperature sensor (27) and pressure sensor (28).

Remove bolts (30) and slide flanges (29) FORWARD.

Use a suitable lifting device to remove air inlet manifold (31). The weight of air inlet manifold (31) is approximately 130 kg (287 lb).
Remove bolts (32) and air inlet manifold (31).Installation Procedure
Install air inlet manifold (31) in the reverse order of removal.
Lubricate the bore of flanges (29) with the fluid that is being sealed.
Tighten pressure sensor (28) to a torque of 10 2 N m (89 18 lb in).
Tighten temperature sensor (27) to a torque of 20 3 N m (177 27 lb in).
