start by: a) remove fan drive 1. Remove the bolts from adapter (4).2. Remove adapter (4) and O-ring seal (3).3. Remove the bearing retaining bolts (2), lock, and retainer (1). 4. Use a hammer and brass punch to remove the bracket and shaft assembly (5) from pulley.5. Remove the spacer (6) from the shaft.6. Remove the seal, bearings, and spacer from the pulley.Assemble Fan Drive
1. Put a multi-purpose type grease on pulley bearings (1) and (3). 2. Install bearing (1) in pulley. Using tool setup (A), install seal (2) in pulley with spring side of seal toward outside of pulley. Put grease on the lip of seal.3. Install the spacer for seal on the shaft.4. Install the pulley on the shaft and bracket assembly.5. Install spacer (4) and bearing (3). Install the bearing retainer, lock, and bolts.6.
