D - Loctite 5127 - Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the installation procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to yoke (1). The weight of differential housing (3) is approximately 250 kg (550 lb).
Remove the remaining gasket material from the mating surfaces.
Clean the inside of the axle housing with clean towels.
Apply Tooling (D) to the mating surface of the axle housing.
Install differential housing (3) onto the axle housing. Note: The dowel pins on the differential housing must line up with the holes in the bottom of the axle housing.
Install bolts (2) on the differential housing. Tighten bolts (2) evenly to a torque of 270 40 N m (200 30 lb ft).
Fill the differential with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities"for further information. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricate Viscosities" for further information. End By:
Install the axle. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Installing the Axle (Front or Rear)".
