2. Remove nuts (1) from U-clamps (2) that secure muffler (5).3. Remove two bolts (3) that secure coupler (4) on exhaust pipe (6). The muffler rests on the drain line and should lift off at this point. It may be necessary to remove the drain line, if so complete step 4. 4. Remove bolt (7) and the washer that secures muffler drain line to the engine. If necessary remove the muffler mount. 5. Remove four bolts (8) that secure two muffler mounts (7) to the engine flywheel housing. Remove muffler mounts.6. Install the muffler in the reverse order of the removal steps.
