1. Disconnect drive shaft (1) from transfer gear housing for circle reverse. Fasten the drive shaft to frame.2. Disconnect the hydraulic lines between the drawbar and front of machine. Put identification on lines.3. Put support under the front and rear of circle. 4. Remove the six bolts (2) that hold the drawbar to frame. 5. Start the diesel engine and move the machine forward until there is about 4 in. (10 cm) of clearance between bolt (3) and frame.6. Remove the shims (4), inserts, and adapter (5). Put identification on shims for use during installation of bolt.7. Use tool setup (A) to loosen the nut that holds bolt (3) to drawbar. Loosen nut until there is about .12 in. (3 mm) of clearance between nut and drawbar. 8. Install tool setup (B) and a suitable spacer (7), and loosen the bolt from drawbar.9. Remove tool setup (B). Remove drawbar bolt and nut. Remove the cap (6) from bolt.Install Circle Drawbar Bolt
1. Put cap (1) in place on bolt (2), and install bolt and nut in the drawbar. 2. Tighten the nut to 1050 100 lb.ft. (145,2 13,8 mkg) using tool setup (A) and a torque wrench.3. Clean the drawbar bolt and socket until all rust and dirt have been removed. Put 8D2132 Spray Lubricant on the drawbar bolt and on socket. Let lubricant dry for 10 to 15 minutes. The 8D2132 Spray Lubricant keeps rust off the bolt and socket which could cause the inserts to wear. Do not use any other lubricant on the bolt, socket, or inserts. 4. Put shims (3), inserts, and adapter in place. Use tape to keep inserts in position. Start the diesel engine, and move machine backward until bolt (2) is in position in frame. 5. Remove the tape from inserts. Put shims and cap in position, and install the bolts (4).6. Use a bar to move drawbar away from socket in frame as far as possible. Remove bar and let bolt fall in position in socket. Take a measurement of clearance between bolt (2) and cap (1) at location (5). Clearance should be .008 in. (0,20 mm). If necessary, make an adjustment to thickness of shims (3) to get this clearance.7. Remove supports from under circle. Connect the hydraulic lines to their respective positions at front of machine.8. Connect the drive shaft to transfer gear housing for circle reverse.
