Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before installation, all components and mating surfaces should be thoroughly clean. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Inspect all gaskets and seals. If any gaskets or seals are damaged or worn, use new gaskets or seals for replacement. All installation procedures should be performed in a clean work area.

Attach a suitable lifting device and a hoist to swivel (3). Use the hoist to position the swivel on the swing frame. Note: The swivel weighs approximately 110 kg (243 lb).

Install five bolts (17) and the washers that secure swivel (3) to the carbody.

Connect drain hoses (5) and the tee on the round side at the bottom of swivel (3). Note: Refer to the markings on the hoses.

Connect pilot hoses (2) to the two tees at the bottom of swivel (3). Note: Refer to the markings on the hoses.
