Press and hold the clear button for two or more seconds to clear an A-Stop.The Command Tractor identifies and records which transmitter or transmitters have initiated an A-Stop. The Command Tractor can only resume remote control and then autonomous operation when an A-Stop clear message is received from all the transmitters that the Command Tractor received a stop message from. The Command Tractor will deactivate the A-Stop, after receiving a clear message from every transmitter that the Command Tractor received a stop message from. The red mode light will stop only flashing when the operator presses the horn button on the operator station for three seconds. The Command Tractor will then return to Remote Control Standby mode and the blue mode light will be solid. Refer to Illustration 1.When clearing an A-Stop, verify that all affected Command machines (intended and unintended) receive the clear signal. Command machines near the end of the range of the stop signal may not receive a clear signal immediately. When leaving the Autonomous Operating Zone (AOZ) with an A-Stop, verify that a clear signal has been sent to all the machines that are safe to operate. If there are Command machines that must remain stopped, send a new A-Stop signal to the relevant machines from an A-Stop device that will remain in the AOZ, and then send a clear signal to all relevant machines from the A-Stop device leaving the AOZ. Failure to send a clear signal from an A-Stop leaving the AOZ will require either retrieving the A-Stop, or mode changing the Command machine at the location of the machine.For further information on the indicator lights for Track Type Tractors refer to Special Instruction, REHS7417, "Installation of the Cat® Command for Dozing Operator Station for Track-Type Tractors".Note: Cycling the machine power on the master power disconnect or ground level service center will clear an A-Stop on a Track Type Tractor.
