Illustration 12 g03408962Do not turn off the battery disconnect switch until the light has turned off. This light is illuminated anytime the engine start switch is in the ON position. This light is also illuminated when the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) pump is purging fluid from the system. If the battery disconnect switch is turned off when the light is illuminated the DEF system will not purge and DEF could freeze and damage the pump and the lines.
