System Error Messages
Message Why Occurred Resolution
Low Accuracy (GPS) for 60 seconds GPS timeout after no position updates for 60 seconds - Restart the receiver.
- Check the receiver lights/LEDS.
- Check that the antenna is not obscured from satellites.
Check park brake The park brake is on and a mode is selected in the control keypad. Turn off the park brake and press the auto/manual switch to restart blade control.
Off design The machine has been off the edge of the area covered by the design for 60 seconds or longer. Move back over the design and press the auto/manual switch to restart blade control.
Out of auto range for 60 seconds The cutting edge has been outside the range of the automatic controls for longer than 60 seconds. Move the blade into the range of the automatic controls and press auto/manual switch to restart blade control.
Position awareness not functioning Contact the site supervisor.
Position awareness not functioning for 60 seconds Contact the site supervisor. Blade Control is automatically disarmed. Example Error Message
The on-board software changes blade control state when the software notices certain problems.For example, if the blade moves off design and stays off design longer than 60 seconds, the following actions occur:

Sequence of actions
The Gauge window (1) immediately fills with yellow color once the machine moves outside the design boundary.
The active-operator icon (2) displays on the Status bar and full control immediately comes back to the operator.
The "Off Design for 60 seconds" flashing warning message (3) displays after 60 seconds
The inactive-auto icon (4) displays on the Status bar.If the condition is corrected within 60 seconds:
Flashing error message does not display.
Gauge window shows cut/fill values.
Blade control returns to the active-auto state.
