Pressing the A-Stop button and Test button at the Test Station fails to register the device.Test Step 1. CHECK THE POWER LEVEL OF THE A-STOP DEVICE.Verify that the handheld A-Stop is charged.Results:
OK - The Test/Power Indicator blinks periodically and the Red Battery charge indicator is not illuminated.
Proceed to Test Step 2.
NOT OK - The Test/Power Indicator does not blink or the Red Battery charge indicator is illuminated. Charge the handheld A-Stop device.STOPTest Step 2. PERFORM A FIELD TEST OF THE A-STOP.Refer to the Operations and Maintenance Manual, M0069882, "Autonomous Stop (A-Stop)".Results:
OK - The autonomous machine responds to the test properly.
Proceed to Test Step 3.
NOT OK - The machine does not respond. The A-Stop is not functioning correctly. Refer to "A-Stop Fails to Activate" to troubleshoot the A-Stop.STOPTest Step 3. VERIFY THE A-STOP TEST STATION IS CORRECTLY CONNECTED.Refer to the Special Instruction, M0069890, "Installation and Configuration Procedure for an Autonomous Stop (A-Stop) System" guide to verify that the A-Stop Test Station is plugged in and has a correct Ethernet connection.Results:
OK - The Test Station is connected correctly.
Proceed to Test Step 4.
NOT OK - The Test Station is not correctly connected. Resolve the connection issues.STOPTest Step 4. INSPECT THE A-STOP TEST STATION ANTENNA AND ANTENNA WIRING.Refer to the Special Instruction, M0069890, "Installation and Configuration Procedure for an Autonomous Stop (A-Stop) System" guide to verify that the A-Stop Test Station antenna is correctly connected to the Test Station.Results:
OK - The Test Station antenna is connected correctly.
