Removal Procedure
Start By:
Release the hydraulic system pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic System Pressure - Release".
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Note: Before you begin the following procedure swing the upper structure in order to gain access to the cover that is located under the cab.

Loosen bolts (3).
Remove bolts (1) in order to remove cover (2).

Disconnect hose assemblies (4) from the pilot valve.

Disconnect hose assemblies (5) from the pilot valve.

Disconnect harness assembly (6). Remove left travel pressure switch (7).

Disconnect harness assembly (8). Remove the harness assembly from the clip. Remove right travel pressure switch (9).

Remove fittings (10) and (11) from the pilot valve.

Remove rubber floor mat (12) from the travel pedals.

Remove rubber pedal (13) and (14).

Remove bolts (17) and (18) in order to remove left travel pedal (15).

Remove bellows (19) from the pilot valve.

Remove pilot valves (21). Installation Procedure
Install pilot valves (21) in the reverse order of removal.
