Removal Procedure
At temperatures lower than −15° C (5° F), care should be taken when removing the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) line connectors. To limit possible damage to the DEF line connectors, carefully apply heat to the area of the DEF line connectors.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Open Left access door.
Turn battery disconnect to the OFF position.

Remove coolant lines (1) and (4) from diesel exhaust fluid module (2).
Remove Electrical harness assemblies (5).
Remove diesel exhaust fluid line (3).

Remove bolts (6) and hood stop (7).

Remove hoses (8) and (9).
Disconnect and remove hose assemblies (10) and (11).

Remove cable clips (12) and disconnect harness assembly (13).

Remove two bolts (15) and one bolt (16).

Remove bolts (17) and diesel exhaust fluid module (2).Installation Procedure
Install Diesel Exhaust Module (2) in reverse order of removal.
