Using the Electronic Technician (ET) to Verify the Power Settings
The status display for the electronic technician software will indicate the current selected power setting by the ECM. The Electronic Technician will allow the technician to temporarily change the default power setting in order to troubleshoot the engine. This change can not be saved. The preprogrammed power ratings in the ECM for a given speed are the only power ratings that are available. See Tables 1 and 2.
