Rework all 193-6222, 280-1609, 280-1609, and 379-8891 Differentials in dealer parts stock and dealer exchange inventory.
****Affected Product****
Replace the existing differential 5P4539 Bearing-Cone with a new 436-4013 Bearing-Cone.
Refer to the service manual for disassembly and assembly instructions. Refer to Special Instruction REHS9327 "Procedure to Check the Differential Pinion End Float on 793 Off-Highway Trucks" for checking end float after final assembly to ensure the bearing setting is correct.

Submit one claim for reworking 193-6222, 280-1609, 280-1609, and 379-8891 Differentials in dealer parts stock and dealer exchange inventory. 6 hours of labor plus (1) 5P4540 Bearing Cup, (17) 5P8245 Washers, (1) 6M5218 Seal-O Ring, (17) 6V5684 Bolt, (1) 3871379 Seal As, and (1) 4364013 Bearing Cone will be allowed for each differential that is reworked.
