Hot oil and hot components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or hot components to contact skin.
Obtain an oil sample when the engine is running and the oil is at operating temperature.
Open the hood.

Sampling valve (1) for the steering and brake system is located on the cover assembly. Sampling valve (2) for the hoist system is located on the return screen.Take a sample of the steering and brake system oil from valve (1) .Take a sample of oil from the hoist system from valve (2) .
Close the hood.Use S O S oil analysis in order to monitor the condition of your oil.For information on oil types, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Sampling Interval and Location of Sampling Valve".
