This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS8215" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The 6I0416 Wiring Harness Assembly that goes into the 6I0395 Enclosure Assembly may develop a short circuit causing shutdown of certain 3408 and 3412 Marine Engines.

100 mm (4") 6V5818 Flexible ConduitAction Required
Place a 100 mm (4") piece of 6V5818 Flexible Conduit around the unprotected portion of the 6I0416 Wiring Harness of the 6I0395 Enclosure Assembly. Secure the conduit with two tie wraps.
