LAMP GP-SIGNAL 3702196 - Caterpillar

Before any air lines are disconnected, be sure the system pressure is zero.
1. Disconnect air hose (3) from the elbow.2. Loosen the nuts, and remove handles (1) from the levers.3. Remove five allen screws (4), and remove cover (2). 4. Remove clip assembly (5) that holds the wiring harness assembly connector together. Separate connector (6) that holds the wiring harness assemblies together. 5. Remove two allen screws (8) and plate (7). 6. Remove two springs (11) from the levers and plate (10).7. Remove two bolts (9) and plate (10). 8. Remove two nuts (12) and two bolts (13) that connect the links to the levers. Put identification marks on the wires for correct installation.9. Remove nuts (14), and disconnect the wire assemblies from the solenoids.10. Remove the nuts and bolts and solenoids (15) and (16) from the bracket assembly.Install Lift And Tilt Kickout Solenoids
1. Put solenoids (1) and (2) in position on the bracket assembly, and install the bolts and nuts that hold them in place. 2. Put the wires in position on the solenoids, and install nuts (3) that hold them in place. 3. Install bolts (8) and the nuts until the bottom side of the bolt heads are 10 2 mm (.39 .08 in.) from the adjacent surface of levers (9) and (10).4. Adjust the lift and tilt solenoids as follows:a. Pull the lift and tilt levers into the raise and rack back detents.b. Pull or push plungers (4) of the solenoids until the end of the plungers are [dimension (A)] a distance of 25 1 mm (.98 .04 in.) from the bottom side of the solenoid mounting surface.c. Hold plungers (4), and turn nuts (5) to adjust rods (6) so that all of the slack (free movement) is removed from links (7).d. Move the lift and tilt levers forward and backward several times; then recheck the solenoid adjustments. 5. Put plate (12) in position, and install two bolts (11) that hold it in place.6. Install two springs (13) on the levers and plate (12). 7. Put plate (14) in position, and install two allen screws (15) that hold it in place. Tighten the allen screws to a torque of 9 3 N m (80 27 lb.in.). 8. Connect connector (16) that holds the wiring harness assemblies together. Install clip assembly (17) that holds connector (16) together. 9. Put cover (21) in position, and install five allen screws (20) that hold it in place.10. Install handles (18) on the levers, and tighten the nuts that hold them.11. Connect air hose (19) to the elbow.
