ACTION REQUIRED
If there is a 304-5260 Lifter Spring Guide failure, complete the following actions:
- Replace all twelve spring guides with new 384-4171 Spring Guides.
- Replace all twelve valve lifters with new 384-4172 Valve Lifter Assemblies.
Refer to RENR9579, Disassembly and Assembly, "Lifter Group - Remove and Install", for additional information, in order to complete this Rework Procedure.
