Turn signal operation with a signal lamp failure (or open circuit) on one side
When the operator turns ON the turn signals on the side with a faulty lamp or circuit, the good turn signal lamp will continue to flash. The dash indicator will not illuminate. The unlit indicator alerts the operator that either a lamp or the circuit is faulty. When the operator turns ON the hazard flashers, the three good signal lamps will flash ON and OFF continuously. The dash indicator in the side with the faulty lamp or circuit will not illuminate. This indicates that a signal lamp has failed or there is an open in the circuit. The dash indicator on the other side will flash ON and OFF continuously.When dash turn signal indicator does not illuminate or flash when expected, verify that the corresponding side signal lamps are working properly before suspecting that the flasher assembly or the dash turn signal indicator is the cause of the problem.The new 354-5577 Flasher As is adaptable to the serial numbers that are listed in Table 1.
