LATCH AS 4232603 - Caterpillar

Position cylinder block (64) in a press. Install a suitable piece of square steel stock against washer (69). Use the press and apply slight compression on spring (71). Remove retaining ring (70) and slowly release the spring compression.
Remove washer (69), spring (71) and washer (68) from cylinder block (64) .

Remove retaining ring (72) from housing (58) .

Remove retaining ring (73) and shaft (57) .

Remove swashplate assembly (74) from the housing.

Use the following procedure and disassemble swashplate assembly (74) .
Remove wire (79) and bearing (80) from cradle (75) .
Remove pin joint (76), slide (77), bearing (78) and wire (81) from cradle (75) .
Remove the roller from both of the bearings.

Remove bearing races (82) from the housing.
Remove the two pins from the housing, if necessary.

Remove O-ring seal (84) from plug (85) .
