Removal Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove four bolts (1). Remove valve cover (2).

If necessary, remove O-ring seal (3). Installation Procedure

Inspect O-ring seal (3) for good condition. Obtain a new seal, if necessary. Make sure that the seal is installed in the groove of valve cover (2). Place the valve cover onto rocker arm base (4).

Install four bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 10 N m (7 lb ft). Tighten the bolts again to a torque of 20 3 N m (15 2 lb ft).
