ACTION REQUIRED
If oil fuel dilution is suspected, determine if an excessive amount of fuel is present in the oil by reviewing the customer's oil sample report. If the oil viscosity is below 11.0 centistokes at 100 degrees C with 15w-40 oil and the oil has less than 300 hours of use, file the claim as after failure. If these criteria are not met, file the claim as before failure.
1. Get an ECM download and update into SIMS.
2. Attach the oil sample report to the claim in SIMS, if after failure.
Refer to the attached Rework Procedure.

PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Remove the 030-7947 elbow from the 304-8022 tee. The elbow will not be reused. Image1.1.1 Original Tee Fitting
2. Remove the 001-6286 Straight Fitting from the end of the 308-6339 Hose and replace the 001-6286 Straight Fitting with the 068-0009 90 Degree Fitting.
3. Install the 327-0377 Check Valve into the top of the 304-8022 Tee.
4. Connect the 068-0009 90 Degree Fitting to the 327-0377 Check Valve. Image1.1.2 New Configuration
5. Remove the 233-6742 Check Valve from the bottom of the filter base and replace with the 3274448 Valve. Image1.1.3 Filter Base
