PRODUCT SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR REPLACING THE 133-5671 FUEL FILTER GROUP WITH THE 225-4153 FUEL FILTER GROUP ON CERTAIN 3456 PGAG AND C15 PKGG GENSETS

This Program must be administered either before or after failure.In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS42724" as the Part Numberand "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code.If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

This Revised Service Letter replaces the 12Jun2008 Service Letter. Changes have been made to Service Claim Allowance.

PROBLEM
The existing fuel filter group can cause air migration from the primary fuel filter base, causing loss of prime and hard starting on certain 3456 PGAG and C15 PKGG generator packages. If the existing fuel filter group is not replaced it may cause starting problems with the genset packages.

The fuel filter assembly needs to be replaced on engines in Group 2.
