B 1 336-2212 Water Pump Seal As Height of the water pump seal assembly after installation is 9.90 0.38 mm (0.390 0.015 inch).
1 1 229-5472 Bearing Locknut Torque to 300 30 N m (221 22 lb ft).
Use the following procedure to tighten the set screws for the bearing locknut :
1. Tighten the set screws in 180 degrees pattern to 4.00 1.25 N m (35.40 11.06 lb in).
2. Again, tighten the set screws in 180 degrees pattern to 7.2 0.2 N m (63.7 1.8 lb in).
2 1 493-9610 Impeller Bore in the impeller for new shaft is 25.344 0.012 mm (0.9978 0.0005 inch).
3 1 493-9609 Pump Shaft Diameter of the pump shaft for impeller is 25.400 to 25.410 mm (1.0000 to 1.0004 inch).
Lubricate the shaft lightly with clean engine oil before pressing the impeller on the pump shaft.
During assembly, pump shaft must be flush with the face of the impeller within 0.15 mm (0.006 inch).
4 1 9S-8007 Plug Torque to 8 1 N m (71 9 lb in).
5 1 235-4645 Lip Type Seal During assembly, Install the lip type seal dry into the pump housing. Install the lip type seal within 2 minutes after the lip type seal has been removed from the shipping tube. Use the correct installation tool. Do not use hand pressure to install water pump seal.
6 1 4N-1230 O-Ring Seal Lubricate with P-80 or 5P-3975 Rubber Lubricant.
C - - Distance between the impeller and the pump housing is 14.3 mm (0.56 inch).
