Features
WinTPM has the same appearance to the user as VIMSpc99.
The program functions in the same manner as VIMSpc99.
The payload data and the cycle data are stored in a database.
Files (downloads) that were created from the MS-DOS version of TPM can be imported into the WinTPM database.
There are three types of reports:Summary - This report is a single page of productivity information. The Summary report is useful in determining the overall productivity of a machine.Detailed - This report creates a table of the "truck payload cycles". This is useful when you are analyzing the detailed characteristics of a truck over a small time range.Graphical - This report creates a graph of the key parameters of the payload cycle. This is useful when you are studying the histograms that are associated with productivity.
The data that is used to generate reports is selectable so that only the desired information will be used to generate the report. For example, only the payloads that are larger than 85 tons may be selected to appear on the payload report.
Shifts and the definition of the shift can be defined and reports may be generated according to the shift that is selected.
The User's Manual is available in the "Help" menu of the WinTPM menu bar. The User's Manual is also available in printable Adobe Acrobat format (.pdf) on the CD-ROM. Connecting WinTPM to the Truck For the First Time
In order to use WinTPM with a TPMS equipped truck, the serial number and the equipment number must be stored both onboard in the TPMS and off-board in the WinTPM database. Steps 1 through 5 of the instructions that are given below allow the user to store the serial number and the equipment number in the onboard memory of the truck. The data is stored in the "User Defined Data" area. This procedure must be performed one time per truck. After the data has been stored in the onboard memory, perform steps 6 through 8 in order to automatically store the serial number, the equipment number, and the model number of the truck in the WinTPM database. Alternatively, the same data can be stored in the WinTPM database manually by performing the process that is described in "Appendix B" of the User's Manual. This procedure does not require the service tool to be connected to the truck. This procedure must be performed once for each laptop computer that will connect to this truck.
Connect the download cable between the laptop computer and the onboard TPMS. Start the WinTPM program. Choose the "Connect Machine" option under the "File" menu.
