Parking brake Pressure Switch

The parking brake pressure switch senses the pressure in the parking brake release circuit. The MD3 module uses the input from this pressure switch to warn the operator if the parking brake release pressure is less than 1800 kPa (261 psi) when the engine speed is greater than 750 rpm. TheMD3 uses this input for warning purposes only.Temperature operating range -40° C (-40° F) to 121° C (240° F). Actuation pressure is 2200 kPa (319 psi) maximum. Deactuation pressure 1800 175 kPa (261 25 psi). These pressures are true for operation within the listed temperature operating range.Accumulator Pressure Switch

The accumulator pressure switch senses supply pressure to the front manifold . The MD3 module uses the input from this pressure switch to warn the operator if the supply pressure is less than 8268 kPa (1200 psi). This solenoid is used for the parking brake and the differential front lock solenoid.When the parking brake is released, the parking brake solenoid directs oil into the piston chamber .The differential lock solenoid sends oil to the clutch pack. Maximum current is .065 amps. Resistance is 20.9 ohms.
