Wireless communications with the office
The AccuGrade system lets an engineer or site manager use the GPS data radio to transfer data between the Display in the machine's cab and the site office. The types of data that can be transferred include the following:
3D design files
system diagnostic reports
informational messages from the site office
Display button pressesThe data transfer takes between a few seconds and a few minutes, depending on the amount to be transmitted. The wireless transfer icon can be seen in the guidance settings area while the transfer takes place. See Illustration 1.

Wireless data transfer (1) Wireless data transfer iconTypically, you will not notice that the transfer is taking place unless one of the following occurs:
The office sends you a message. You must acknowledge messages from the office. To learn how to acknowledge messages from the office, see "Messages from the site office".
Map recording is on, or is turned on turning the file transfer, in which case map recording will be paused for the duration of the file transfer.
You try to load a design file. You are not able to load a design file while a file is being transferred.Messages from the site office
Office staff are able to transmit wireless data messages to a selected machine. Illustration 2 shows an example of a message from the site office.
