Counterweight removed for photo clarity20. Place a drain pan under the shutoff valves for the heater hoses. A small amount of coolant will flow out of the hose assemblies when they are disconnected at the shutoff valves.21. Disconnect two water lines (19).22. Place a drain pan under the engine oil cooler. A small amount of oil will flow from the hose assemblies (20) when they are disconnected.23. Disconnect two oil filter lines (20). 24. Remove bolt (22) and the clip that holds wiring harness to upper plate (21). 25. Remove bolts (23), (25), (26) and the washers.26. Remove top brace (24). 27. Place a drain pan under the main hydraulic pump. Hydraulic oil will flow from the hose assemblies and tube assemblies that are connected to the main hydraulic pump when they are disconnected.28. For installation purpose, put identification marks on all hose assemblies and tube assemblies connected to the main hydraulic pump. Disconnect hydraulic lines (27), (28), (30) and (31). Cap or plug immediately in order to prevent contamination of the hydraulic oil system.29. Disconnect four hydraulic lines (29) and (34). Cap or plug immediately in order to prevent contamination of the hydraulic oil system.30. Remove four bolts (32) and the washers, and disconnect the main hydraulic tube.31. Remove top plate (21). 32. Attach Tooling (A) and a hoist to the lifting groups (front and rear). The weight of the engine and the main hydraulic pump is 1440 kg (3200 lb). 33. Remove the nut on rod (36).34. Loosen bolts (39) holding the refrigerant compressor. Slide V-belt (35) from the refrigerant compressor.35. Disconnect electrical wiring harness (37) from the refrigerant compressor.36. Remove bolts (39) holding the refrigerant compressor. Lower refrigerant compressor to the frame.
During the removal of the engine and the main hydraulic pump, the right front engine mount has to be removed completely. The other three engine mounts do not require removal.
37. Remove three bolts (38), the washers and the mount.

Raise the engine and the main hydraulic pump slowly to check for additional lines or connections that could be damaged during removal.
43. Remove the engine and the main hydraulic pump from the engine compartment. Refer to the machine systems module, Form No. SENR8973 for information on separating the main hydraulic pump and the coupling from the engine. The following steps are for the installation of the engine and the main hydraulic pump.44. Prior to connecting any hydraulic hose assemblies or tube assemblies, check the condition of the O-ring seals used in the ends of the hose assemblies and tube assemblies. If any of the seals are damaged, use new parts for replacement.
Visually check the condition of the upper and lower rubber mounts. If the rubber mounts are damaged, or appear to be
