New mounting parts for either the fuel tank or the hydraulic tank.At this time, a change was also made to the four upper bolt holes in the cross support (firewall) to which the tops of both tanks are fastened. See Illustration 2. (This support is a part of the seat support group.) These four holes, two for each tank, are now the same diameter as the other holes in the support used to mount each tank. Formerly, these four holes were larger than the other mounting holes and a spacer and lug were used around these four bolts. The spacers and lugs are not needed when the new frame mounting lugs and rubber washers are used on the frame.

New hardware used at two locations on the rear of each tank.Adaptable To: All the new parts are effective with 910 Loaders 40Y7769 and 41Y2760, and IT12 Tool-carriers 2YC778 and 4NC809. The new mounting parts that fasten the tank support plate to the frame can be installed on earlier machines by enlarging the six mounting holes in the plate. See View M-M in Illustration 1. Each new lug is inserted in the enlarged hole in the plate, and the rubber washer is placed between the mounting plate and the new flat washer as shown. The same parts, except for the one long bolt through the fuel tank support, are needed for both the fuel tank and the hydraulic tank. The former tank assemblies are still serviced, but the mounting holes will need to be enlarged if the new mounting parts are to be used.
The locations of the new bolts and washers in the cross support (firewall) that bolts to the top of both tanks are shown in Illustration 2. Do not reuse the lug, spacer, or former washer at these locations.
