Engine Coolant Temperature (1) - Indicates the engine coolant temperature. The green range indicates normal temperature. If the coolant temperature enters the red range, pull the machine to a convenient stop. Investigate the cause. Do not operate the machine if the temperature remains in the red range.
Engine Oil Pressure (2) - Indicates the engine oil pressure. The green range indicates normal pressure. A lower pressure is normal at low idling speeds. If the engine oil pressure enters the red range at normal engine operating rpm, stop the engine and investigate the cause. Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected. Vibration Per Minute Tachometer (3) - Indicates vibrations per minute (frequency of the vibratory drum). Drum frequency should be 1,800 vibrations per minute (vpm) while propelling if not equipped with a variable vibration control knob. On machines equipped with a variable vibration control knob, the frequency can be set from 1400-1800 vpm.
Hydraulic Oil Temperature (4) - Indicates temperature of the hydraulic oil within the hydraulic oil tank.If the gauge indicates hydraulic oil temperature is above 88°C (190°F), stop the machine. Move the throttle control to low idle for a few minutes. If the temperature returns to normal, resume machine operation. If the temperature remains high, stop the engine and investigate the cause. Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected.
Service Hour Meter (5) - Indicates the total number of hours the engine has operated. Use it to determine service intervals.
Fuel Level (6) - Indicates the amount of diesel fuel in the fuel tank.Lights Switch (If Equipped)
Move the switch rearward to turn on the gauge lights and the head and tail lights. Move the switch foreword to turn the lights off.Fan Switch (If Equipped)
Move the switch rearward to turn the fan on. Move the switch forward to turn the fan off.Heater Control Knob (If Equipped)
Rotate the knob counterclockwise to turn the heater off.Rotate the knob clockwise to turn the heater on. A valve in the heater supply line and a valve in the heater return line must be open for the heater to operate. Rotate the valves to the left (counterclockwise) to open the valves. Rotate the valves to the right (clockwise) to close the valves.Windshield Wipers (If Equipped)
Front Windshield Wiper Control (1). Rear Windshield Wiper Control (2).
Turn the knob clockwise to turn on the windshield wiper. Turn the knob counterclockwise to turn off the windshield wiper.Cab Light (If Equipped)
Depress the right side of the switch to turn the cab light on. Depress the left side of the switch to turn the cab light off.Horn
Push the switch down to sound the horn. Use the horn to alert or to signal personnel.Back-up Alarm
The alarm sounds when the propel control lever is in the reverse position. It is used to alert people behind the machine that it is backing up.The back-up alarm is located on the rear of the machine. A three position switch (high, low and medium) at the rear of the back-up alarm regulates its
