1. Always block trailer or rail car wheels before loading Excavator. 2. Engage swing locking pin. 3. Turn disconnect switch OFF and remove key. 4. Engage safety control. 5. Cover engine exhaust opening.6. Install tie downs at several locations. 7. Install vandalism guards. 8. Check state and local laws and travel route for weight limits, overpass clearances, etc. 9. If need be, remove pin and stick linkage to reduce overall clearance. 10. Observe all safety regulations governing wide loads. 11. Be sure to remove all mud from undercarriage when moving in or to cold climate.12. Remove ice, snow or other slippery material from truck bed and track before loading, to avoid slipping in transit. In freezing weather make certain that cooling system is protected by antifreeze, or is drained completely.Lifting Excavator - With Bucket, Stick And Boom Attached
1. Rotate house to locate cab over sprocket. Fully extend stick and bucket cylinders and lower the boom to the ground. 2. Sling to front of Excavator, attach cables to 4 inch (100 mm) holes in house frame.Lifting Excavator - With Bucket, Stick And Boom Removed
1. Rotate house to locate cab over sprocket. 1. Sling to front of Excavator, attach cables to 4 inch (100 mm) holes in house frame. 3. Sling rear of Excavator, run cables through slots in counterweights to the two outer towing eyes on the undercarriage.
