Apply Tooling (B) to O-ring (22)..
Install O-ring (22), and housing (23).

Apply Tooling (D) to needle bearings (21).
Install needle bearings (21).

Apply Tooling (D) to the shims
Install gears (20), and the shims.Note: Install the shims at location (Z) as shown in illustration 29.
Install shafts (19).
Repeat Steps 47 through 49 for the remaining gears.

Install magnet cap (18), and screws (17). Tighten screws (17) to a torque of 5 N m (44 lb in).

Install gear carrier output shaft (16).

Install thrust washers (15), and retaining ring (14).

Apply Tooling (B) to seal ring (13).
Install seal ring (13).

Install drive housing (12), and screws (11). Tighten screws (11) to a torque of 17 N m (150 lb in).

Install line (10).

Install starting drive gear (7), and compression spring (8).

Install drive housing (6), and screws (5).Note: Check the condition of the roller bearing, replace if damaged or suspect.
Tighten screws (5) to a torque of 17 N m (12 lb ft)

Install control module (3), and the O-ring.
Install screws (2). Tighten screws (2), to a torque of 1.7 N m (15 lb in).
Install screws (2). Tighten screws (2), to a torque of 7 N m (62 lb in).
