Install wave spring (31) on barrel spacer (32).
Install the correct shim (30).Note: The correct shim was determined in Step 42.e.
Install bearing (29).
Install retainer plate (28) on bearing (29).
Install nine piston assemblies (27) through retainer plate (28) and into barrel (33). The piston assemblies MUST BE installed in the original locations.
Install swashplate (26).
Lightly tighten the threaded rods of Tooling (C) into swashplate (26).

Install cover (41) and bolts (42).
Install O-ring seal (40) onto cover (41).
Install actuator (38) into body assembly (19).
Install plug (39) into actuator (38).

Install O-ring seal (34) onto cover (35).
Install cover (35), mounting bracket (37) and bolts (36).

Install wave spring (31) and barrel spacer (32) onto pump barrel (33).
Install shim (30) and bearing (29) from pump barrel (33).
Install retainer plate (28).
Install nine piston assemblies (27).
Install swashplate (26).
Install the threaded rods into swashplate (26).
Illustration 22 g06215293Note: Tooling (C) will secure rotating group (24) to swashplate (26) during the removal.
Install Tooling (C) on rotating group (24), as shown.
Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (C). The weight of rotating group (24) and swashplate (26) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb).
Install actuator slide (25) onto swashplate (26).
Install the rotating group.

Install Tooling (A) into body assembly (19).
Install O-ring seals (20), O-ring seal (21), and O-ring seal (22) onto body assembly (19).
Install pins (23) onto body assembly (19).

Install Tooling (A) in body assembly (19), as shown to guide head assembly (14) onto body assembly (19).
Install Tooling (B) on head assembly (14).
Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (B), as shown.
Install bearing (16) into head assembly (14).Note: Note the orientation of dowel (15) and dowel (17) for assembly purposes.
Install dowels (15) and (17) into head assembly (14).
Install port plate (18) into head assembly (14).Note: Install the head slowly to ensure that the woodruff key will pass through the head.
Install head assembly (14). The weight of head assembly (14) is approximately 46 kg (102 lb).
Remove Tooling (A).

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Install the washers, socket head bolts (12), and bolts (13).

Install impeller (11), spacer (10), and retaining ring (9).

Install bolts (7) and cover assembly (8).
Install O-ring seal (6) onto cover (5).
Install cover (5) and bolts (4).

Install the O-ring seals, the cartridge, coil (2), and nut (3).
