(1) Lubricant pump (2) Vent valve (3) Check valve (4) Solenoid valve (5) Vent line (6) Tube (7) Lubricant reservoir (8) Adjustable pressure reducing valve (9) Hydraulic motor (10) Hydraulic Tank (11) Nonadjustable pressure reducing valve (A) Lubricant pressure out (B) Hydraulic oil pressureThe reduced hydraulic oil pressure flows from pressure reducing valve (11) to solenoid valve (4). The autolube timer energizes solenoid valve (4) which allows the flow of oil. The hydraulic oil exits solenoid valve (4) and flows through pressure reducing valve (8) .The hydraulic oil pressure operates hydraulic motor (9) and vent valve (2). Approximately 2600 100 kPa (380 15 psi) of hydraulic oil pressure is provided by pressure reducing valve (11). Hydraulic motor (9) runs lubricant pump (1). Lubricant pump (1) draws lubricant through tube (6). The lubricant is forced through check valve (3) and through vent valve (2). The hydraulic oil pressure closes vent valve (2). This allows the lubricant to flow through lube line (A). The lubricant then flows to the lubrication injectors. The lubricant pump has a suction cycle and a discharge cycle. During the suction cycle, check valve (3) blocks the pressurized lubricant from flowing back into the pump. The pump fills with lubricant and the pump continues to the discharge cycle. The discharge cycle forces lubricant through check valve (3) and the lubricant pressurizes the lubrication lines. The pump (1) will increase the pressure of the lubricant to approximately 17000 kPa (2500 psi). After the lubrication injectors have cycled, the autolube timer turns off solenoid valve (4). When solenoid valve (4) is de-energized, hydraulic oil stops flowing to the pressure reducing valve. When solenoid valve (4) is de-energized, the pump stops cycling and the vent valve opens. Opening the vent valve will allow the pressurized lubricant that is in the lubrication lines to return to the container through vent line (5). Check valve (3) will block lubricant from flowing back into the air pump.Lubrication Injector Banks

Lubrication Injector Bank (Typical Example) (11) Lubrication line (12) Outlet port (13) Lubrication Injectors (14) Valve manifoldThe lubrication injector banks contain lubrication injectors (13). The injectors are mounted to valve manifold (14). Valve manifold (14) is connected to lubrication line (11). The lubrication line is connected to the pump group. Outlet port (12) is connected to a lubrication line for a bearing.Lubrication Injectors
When the pump is activated, the lubrication injectors will cycle one time. A complete cycle for the injectors consists of four stages.Stage 1

Discharge chamber (21) is filled with lubricant from the previous cycle.
