Removal Procedure

Remove bolts (A) in order to install eyebolts for safe lifting.

Attach a suitable lifting device (B) to counterweight (C) .

Remove screws (D) and remove light assembly (E). Disconnect harness assembly (F) (not shown). Route the wire harness out of the counterweight through the hole in light fixture cavity. Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.

Remove bolts (G) and (H) with washers. Use the suitable lifting device (B) in order to move counterweight (C) away from the machine.Note: Be sure that harness assembly (F) does not catch on anything during the process of moving counterweight (C) away from the machine.
Lower counterweight (C) to the ground.

(W1) 10 mm (0.4 inch) Bevel weld with 1.5 mm (0.06 inch) of weld penetration (A) 100 1.5 mm (4 0.06 inch)
Weld 9C-7862 Bosses from 458-8332 Hardware GP (C) as shown in Illustration 17.
Use a suitable lifting device in order to support the plate. Install 458-5892 Plate (1) using 8T-0668 Bolts (5) and 8T-1482 Hard Washers (6) .Note: Ensure that the wire harness is free from the counterweight.
Use a suitable lifting device in order to support the counterweight. Install counterweight using 108-7931 Bolts (3) and 9X-8258 Hard Washers (9). Install 139-5942 Bolts (4) and 198-8258 Hard Washers (10) in the center of the counterweight.

Install the four screws (D) and install light (E) from the counterweight on the rear of the machine. Route the wire harness through the counterweight through the hole in the light fixture cavity. Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.
Remove lifting device. Install 8T-4190 Bolts (7) and 9X-8257 Washer (8) .
