Turn the tractor to allow the drive shaft to clear the bowl.
Lower the scraper bowl to the ground and engage the parking brake. Chock the wheels in order to prevent the machine from moving.

Remove bolts (1) (not shown) and reposition gear pump (2).

Remove retaining ring (3) and coupling (4).

Use Tooling (A) to reposition drive shaft (5). The weight of drive shaft (5) is approximately 29 kg (65 lb). Attach a suitable lifting device to drive shaft (5). Remove drive shaft (5). Installation Procedure
Install drive shaft (5) in the reverse order of removal.
