Install pistons (29) and guide ring (30) in barrel assembly (28) . Use the marks on the barrel assembly and on the piston to make sure that the pistons are installed in the original positions.
Install barrel assembly (28) , pistons (29) and guide ring (30) onto the shaft as a unit.

Install bearing (27) on the shaft. Install shims under the bearing, as required.
Install the spacer and bearing (26) on each side of the barrel assembly. Use an allen wrench to install two bolts (25) .

Install O-ring seal (23) on plug (22) and O-ring seal (24) on cover (21) .

Install cover (21) and three bolts (20) . The torque for bolts (20) is 9 1 N m (7 1 lb ft).

Install piston (19) , piston (18) and spring (17) .
Install plate (16) , coupler (15) and gasket (14) .

Install bearing cup (10) and pin (11) .
If rods (12) and (13) were removed, apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound on the rods and install the rods. The torque for the rods is 79 4 N m (58 3 lb ft).

Install head assembly (9) , bolts (8) and O-ring seal (7) . The torque for bolts (8) is 70 7 N m (52 5 lb ft).

Install adapter (6) and two bolts (5) . The torque for bolts (5) is 70 7 N m (52 5 lb ft).

Install three seals (4) on valve assembly (3) .

Install valve assembly (3) . Use an allen wrench to install four bolts (2) . The torque for bolts (2) is 70 7 N m (52 5 lb ft).

Install coupler (1) on the piston pump.

Use a dial indicator to check the axial shaft end play. Put the dial indicator on the end of the shaft and pull on the shaft. The correct axial shaft end play is 0.01 to 0.10 mm (0.0004 to 0.004 inch). Use the correct shim to achieve this dimension.End By: Install the piston pump.
