Additive Spray System (1) Additive Tank (2) Additive Spray Pump and Motor (3) Spray BarThe additive spray system is used in order to prevent material from sticking to the rear tires during compaction.The additive spray system is similar to the water spray system. The additive spray system contains an additive spray pump and an electric motor. Additive pump (2) draws the asphalt additive from additive tank (1). The additive is sent to the spray bar (3) that is mounted on the rear of the machine.

Spray bar (4) for the additive system is attached to the water spray bar on the rear of the machine. The spray bar for the additive system contains one nozzle for each tire.The additive spray system is activated by a switch that is located on the operator console. Hold the switch for the additive system in the UP position in order to activate the additive spray system. Release the switch in order to stop the additive spray system.

The additive spray pump and the motor (5) are located under the rear access panel.Note: Do not put water in the additive tank. The reliability of the pump will be greatly reduced.
