LIGHTING GP-ROADING 1294677 - Caterpillar

Before removing hydraulic tank lower all hydraulics and relieve pressure in tank by opening the cap.
1. Let the oil run out of the tank.2. Loosen the hose clamps that hold the supply line (5) for the pump.3. Disconnect supply line (1) for the tank.4. Disconnect return line (2) from the tank.5. Remove bolts (4) and nuts (3).6. Disconnect breather line (6).7. Disconnect breather line (9) from the transfer gear.8. Remove two of the bolts and nuts from the top edge of the tank and install tool (A). Fasten a hoist to the tank as a support.9. Remove the nuts that hold bracket (8).10. Remove the hydraulic tank (7). Weight is 225 lb. (103 kg).Install Hydraulic Tank
1. Put the tank (1) into position using tool (A) and a hoist.2. Install all the bolts and nuts that hold the tank. Remove tool (A) and install the two bolts and nuts.3. Tighten the hose clamps that hold supply line (4) for the pump.4. Connect supply line (2) and return line (3).5. Connect the breather lines for the transfer gear and differential case.6. Fill the tank with oil to the correct level.
