Information:
If an event occurs, message area (5) will display information about the event. After the problem is corrected, the display in message area (5) will revert to the former display. Events will always override parameter values."ID" Key
"ID" key (14) is used to enter an identification number. If an identification number is required, the number should be entered at the beginning of each shift. When "ID" key (14) is pressed, an "ENTER ID" prompt will be shown on the first line of message area (5). The operator can enter an identification number up to seven digits long. If "OK" key (10) is not pressed within five seconds after the last number is entered, the entry will be cancelled. The display will return to the previous condition. If "ID" key (14) is pressed during the entry, the current entry will be cancelled and the process will start again. This is useful if a mistake is made during the entry. The left arrow key (12) will delete the last number of the entry. The "ID" function is overridden if an event occurs. Once the event is corrected or acknowledged, the "ID" function will resume.Arrow Keys
Arrow keys (12) allow scrolling forward or backward in order to display rows of text in message area (5). The arrow keys can also be used to change the parameters."F1" Key
"F1" key (7) requests additional information about the event that is currently displayed in message area (5) .There are two types of events. Data events warn the operator that the value of a monitored parameter is not in the specified range. Maintenance events warn the operator about electrical problems. When a data event is displayed in message area (5), pressing "F1" key (7) will show the actual data about the condition. For example, if the condition is high temperature, pressing the "F1" key will show the value of the temperature. When a maintenance event is displayed in message area (5), pressing "F1" key (7) will display the diagnostic code information. See Service Manual, "Vital Information Management System (VIMS)" for a complete list of MID values, of CID values and of FMI values.Note: The switches do not have any CID or FMI diagnostic information. Message area (5) will show the state of the switch. Some examples of information that will be shown on message area (5) are "CLOSED", "OPEN", "NEUTRAL" and "UP".Non-Functioning Keys
