Manual control of the outputsNormally, the lubrication pump is in "Automatic" mode. If you select the "Manual" radio button that is above the lights, you can place the outputs under manual control.Three check boxes appear below the lights. The following components can be engaged if the three check boxes are checked. Unselect the check boxes to disengage the following components: the pump motor, the solenoid valve and the signal light.Note: When the ignition is switched off, the operating mode will automatically revert to "Automatic" mode. Note: When the "Manual" mode is selected, all activated outputs will be adopted.Performing a single cycle testBy selecting the "Single cycle" radio button that is above the lights, you can initiate a single cycle test.Note: The operating mode will automatically revert to "Automatic" when the ignition is switched off.Note: A test cycle cannot be initiated while the system is performing a pump phase. To perform a single cycle test, perform the following.
Select the Single cycle radio button. The lights in the Diagnosis window and the signal lamp will start to blink slowly.
Monitor the inputs and outputs of the control unit during the test cycle by watching the lights. When the test is completed, the operating mode will automatically revert to "Automatic". Performing a multiple cycle testBy selecting the "Multiple cycle" radio button that is above the lights, you can initiate a multiple cycle test.Note: The operating mode will automatically revert to "Automatic" when the ignition is switched off.Note: A test cycle cannot be initiated while the system is performing a pump phase. To perform a Multiple cycle test, perform the following.
Select the Multiple cycle radio button. The lights in the Diagnosis window and the signal lamp will start to blink quickly.
Monitor the inputs and outputs of the control unit during the test cycle by watching the lights.
Select the "Automatic" or "Manual" radio button in order to stop the multiple cycle test. Note: During a multiple cycle test, the pressure retaining phase and the pause phases between the cycles "A" and cycles "B" will be skipped.Checking the functioning of the test button on the lubrication pumpTo check the functioning of the test button on the lubrication pump, perform the following.
Press the test button on the lubrication pump and keep the test button pressed for 3 seconds in order to perform a single cycle test. Keep the test button pressed for 7 seconds in order to perform a multiple cycle test.
Monitor the inputs and outputs of the control unit during the test cycle by watching the lights in the "Diagnosis" tab.
Select the "Automatic" or "Manual" radio buttons in order to stop a multiple cycle test. When a single cycle test is completed, the operating mode will automatically revert to "Automatic".Control Unit
